
Fanny worked as a Child Care Officer in Hammersmith and Fulham, London at the beginning of her career. She then joined Gentle Ghost, an Alternative Group with an open door policy, where she worked in their Help and Advice section. The BBC made a programme about the innovative work they did in the community.
She has helped the homeless and substance abusers. She has travelled and lived all over the world including working for WHO in Bangladesh. She lived in New York, where she set up the International side of a contemporary art magazine. She worked on The Times newspaper as a freelance photographer and her photographs of James Baldwin amongst many other photographs have won considerable acclaim. She has illustrated travel books and magazines worldwide. She edited a series of young people’s poetry for Faber and Faber with Ian Dury, which were studied in schools for GCSE. She has worked with reggae bands and mediated in Jamaica.
Fanny has always been a mediator and was formally trained by Resolve Mediation in Reading. She has resolved disputes in all walks of life from airlines to fairgrounds, young people and families, couples, neighbourhood disputes and work place issues.
Fanny is well known for her wide experience in life and her insight and expertise as a Mediator.
