From the beginning of his career as a litigation lawyer at Withers LLP, Jeremy understood that negotiated settlements achieve the best outcomes for clients and that mediation is usually the most effective way to short-cut litigation. In his 30s working for international financial services businesses, Jeremy participated in mediations as a client, experiencing first hand the demands mediation puts on decision makers.
Jeremy’s mediation practice now spans a full range of disputes – commercial cases, contentious trust and probate, children and finances on relationship breakdown, challenging situations in the community. Jeremy brings this breadth of expertise to bear in the cases that he takes on.
Jeremy is a qualified solicitor (2003) with additional STEP qualifications in private client law. He is an Accredited Mediator with the Centre for Effective Dispute Resolution (CEDR) and a registered member of the Civil Mediation Council. In a family context, Jeremy is a member of the Family Mediation Council and the Family Mediation Association.
Jeremy has been involved in 14 civil mediations, 8 family mediations and 20 community mediations since 2018.
